Because cross-threading is a choice, and it's a stupid one.
So, you spent good money on a Rearden or LPM muzzle device because you wanted the best mount in the game, and now you’re just tossing your rifle into the dirt or a padded bag with the threads exposed? Bold move. If you enjoy cleaning carbon-caked grit out of your mounting interface or—god forbid—dinging the threads so your suppressor won’t seat, keep doing what you’re doing.
For the rest of us who value our gear, we made the Thread Guardian. It’s a simple, lightweight insurance policy for your threads when your suppressor is busy living on another host.
Why It’s Better Than Your Hopes and Dreams:
-
Precision Fit: This isn't a "close enough" cap. We engineered it to fit Plan B specs perfectly. It keeps the gunk out and the threads sharp, because a suppressor mount is only as good as the threads it sits on.
-
Industrial Materials: We don’t use that cheap, brittle stuff. These are printed in ABS or Nylon, chosen specifically because they don't care about your "wear and tear." They’re built to survive your range bag, your trunk, and your general lack of care.
-
Two Flavors of Function:
-
Knurled: For people with normal grip strength. Easy on, easy off.
-
Wrench Flats: 1-inch flats for the guys who insist on over-tightening everything or for when you’ve got carbon-lock and need to remind the cap who’s boss.
-
-
Weightless Protection: At 5.5 grams, it weighs less than the change in your pocket. You have no excuse for leaving your muzzle naked.
Pro Tip: Screw it on when the suppressor comes off. It’s not rocket science. If you lose it, buy another one. It’s cheaper than a new muzzle device and a lot cheaper than a gunsmith’s hourly rate to fix your mangled threads.
